Elimination Communication

This course is suitable for all ages.

The IAM™ approach to Elimination Communication is designed to support anyone learning or re‑learning independent potty use, including:

• Newborns, infants, and toddlers
• Older children
• Neurodivergent children and adults
• Teens and adults who want to build or strengthen this life skill

Rather than being age‑dependent, the program is developmentally and nervous‑system aware. The principles adapt to the individual’s stage, abilities, sensory needs, and lived experience. You can begin at any point—whether you’re starting from birth, supporting an older child, or reclaiming this skill later in life.

The focus is always on:

• Trust and safety
• Intuitive communication
• Flexibility and dignity
• Relationship over pressure

This makes the program inclusive, respectful, and applicable across the lifespan.

The IAM™ Foundational Elimination Communication Program is self‑paced, flexible, and low‑pressure. Most lessons are short and intentional, and you’re invited to integrate the ideas gently into your existing routines rather than adding extra tasks to your day.

You can expect:

• Short video and audio lessons you can return to anytime
• Simple reflection or journaling prompts (optional, not required)
• Practical guidance that blends into daily caregiving or support
• Ongoing community access and a monthly live Q&A for support, not homework

This is not a course you rush through or “complete” on a strict timeline. You move at your own pace, revisit lessons as needed, and apply only what feels supportive right now.

The focus is integration over intensity, making it sustainable, respectful, and realistic for families, caregivers, practitioners, and individuals of all ages.
